    How to pick a night out in Benidorm tonight

    On a typical evening Benidorm runs well over 80 different shows across its bars, terraces and cabaret venues. The trick is matching the type of night you want to the right pocket of the resort. The Rincón de Loix — the famous British strip — is the loudest, busiest area, with show pubs, tribute bars and karaoke rooms back to back along Calle Gerona. The Old Town is more relaxed: live acoustic singers, Spanish duos and tapas-and-music in narrow streets and squares. The Levante promenade sits between the two, with open-air dinner-and-show terraces facing the beach.

    Tribute shows are the heartbeat of Benidorm entertainment. On any given night you'll find tributes to ABBA, Queen, Tina Turner, Rod Stewart, Elvis, Whitney Houston, Adele, Olly Murs, Take That and Michael Jackson — usually free-entry, starting around 9pm and running for two sets. The main exceptions are large-scale productions like Benidorm Palace, which run a Vegas-style cabaret with dinner package for around €40–€60 per person.
