Quick answer: Benidorm has a small number of indoor escape rooms, some of which run games in English, plus two app-based outdoor escape games that turn the streets into the puzzle. Outdoor games cost about €12 a head and can be played at any time. Indoor rooms start at about €17 a head on booking sites. Indoor escape rooms
The main bookable indoor game is a 75-minute horror room for groups, sold through Yumping from €17 a head. Staff can switch the game to English for English-speaking teams. It suits groups who want a scare before a night out.
Older guides also list Paradox Escape Room and Lockdown Escape Room in Benidorm, both with English games. Lockdown was listed from €14 a head for 2–6 players, with a minimum age of 15 for its zombie room. We could not confirm that either is still trading in 2026, so check before you go.
If you are happy to travel, Yumping also lists an Alcatraz-themed room in Altea, a 30-minute TRAM ride north (see our Altea guide).
Outdoor escape games
Outdoor games are the easier option for visitors, because you play on your phone at your own pace.
Benidorm Misterioso turns the city into a puzzle trail with riddles hidden in landmarks. Games start every hour from 09:00 to 21:00, take about two hours, and run in English or Spanish every day (Fever).
myCityHunt Escape Game casts you as a secret agent receiving calls and clues around the centre. It costs £11.99 a head and can be played at any time (myCityHunt).
Both work well combined with an afternoon in the Old Town, and they are cooler in the evening in summer.
Free council escape rooms at Christmas
Each Christmas, Benidorm's youth department organises free escape rooms for anyone aged 12 and over. In the 2025–26 season they ran on 14 and 22 December and 2 January, with an urban escape game in the evening on 2 January. Teams of six register at the Youth Information Centre with names, chosen game and time slot (Benidorm council). Games are in Spanish.
Tips
Book indoor rooms a day ahead; most need a minimum group size.
Ask about English before booking, as not every game is translated.
Check age limits for horror rooms if you have teenagers with you.
On a wet day, pair an indoor room with the ideas in our rainy day guide.
