    Where is The Strip?

The Strip sits at the far north end of Levante beach, in the barrio of Rincón de Loix. The heart of it is Calle Gerona, with the surrounding blocks of Calle Lepanto, Calle Esperanto and Avenida del Mediterráneo all packed with bars. From the Square it's a 15–20 minute walk along the seafront or a €5 taxi.

    What's on The Strip

The defining venues are tribute bars — purpose-built rooms with stages, lighting rigs and a different act every night. ABBA, Queen, Tina Turner, Rod Stewart, Adele, Take That, Olly Murs, Elvis and dozens more rotate through the resort weekly. Around them: British sports bars, karaoke rooms, cabaret cabaret rooms and a handful of late-night club spaces. At the top end of the strip, Insomnia Benidorm is the main EDM and electronic club, with international guest DJs and a festival-grade light show.

A typical night on The Strip

    • 6–8pm — happy-hour drinks, food, flyer-collecting from promoters.
    • 8–9pm — opening sets, magicians, warm-up singers.
    • 9–11pm — headline tribute acts.
    • 11pm–1am — second sets, comedy and karaoke; venues thin out and crowds drift to the Calle Mallorca clubs.

    Tips for a first visit

    • Pick two venues to anchor — one early, one for the headliner. Don't try to do ten.
    • Arrive 30 minutes before the headline act to grab a table.
    • Drink prices are low — pints €2.50–€4 — but Spanish measures are large.
    • Taxis back to the hotel are €5–€10 anywhere in the resort. Use licensed white cars only.
