What "adult entertainment" means in Benidorm
In Benidorm "for adults" usually means three things: late starts (after 9pm), themes or material that isn't suitable for children, and venues where the audience is overwhelmingly grown-up. That covers a wide range — from headline tribute acts at 10pm in busy show pubs, to drag cabaret, adult comedy and dedicated nightclub rooms — but it deliberately excludes the early-evening family shows and matinee tributes that share many of the same venues.
Where to base yourself for an adults' night out
The British strip on the Rincón de Loix is the obvious centre of gravity — Calle Gerona alone packs in dozens of show bars and cabaret rooms within five minutes of each other. The Square in the Old Town runs the resort's biggest LGBTQ+ scene with drag bars, late cabaret and club nights every evening. The Levante seafront mixes sit-down adult cabaret with cocktail bars that stay open well past midnight.
Pacing the perfect adult evening
- 7–8:30pm — pre-dinner drinks on the Levante seafront or in the Old Town.
- 8:30–10pm — dinner-with-show or a first tribute act in a busy bar.
- 10pm–midnight — headline tribute, cabaret or comedy.
