Campsites in Benidorm: Motorhome and Long-Stay Guide

Updated October 2026 by the onbenidorm team

Quick answer: Benidorm has five well-known campsites on the Levante side of town: Camping Villamar, Armanello, Arena Blanca, Benisol and El Raco. All take motorhomes and caravans, and several fill with long-stay guests from October to April. Villamar is the largest and runs its own evening shows; Armanello and Arena Blanca are the closest to Levante beach. Book winter stays early, and never sleep in a vehicle on the seafront or the beach.

    Camping Villamar

Villamar is the big all-rounder. Alan Rogers counts 584 pitches for long-term units, with 506 of them for touring, and the site is open all year. It has an indoor and outdoor water park and a restaurant with lounges and terraces. Its evening entertainment is good enough to appear in our listings: tribute acts such as Benidorm Bowie play here, so check tonight's line-up or the Camping Villamar venue page.

    Camping Benisol

Benisol is the calmer choice, set back from the beach with shade from mature trees. It has 193 marked touring pitches and around 200 for permanent campers, and advance payment is required. From the N-332, follow signs for the Playa Levante exit.

    Camping Arena Blanca

Arena Blanca is one of the closest sites to Levante beach and markets itself as eco-friendly, with biomass heating and recycling. It has 161 pitches and 60 rental units, a pool, a restaurant, a bar with a terrace, a playground and a shop, plus EV charging points.

    Camping Armanello

Armanello, on Camí Azagador de Soria, is small and family-run in feel, with 96 pitches and 43 rental units. Pitches are flat with 10A electricity, and the small pool is popular. The approach road from the N-332 is narrow, so take it slowly in a large motorhome.

    Camping El Raco

El Raco sits about 15 minutes' walk from Levante beach and has indoor and outdoor pools and a restaurant serving local dishes. It is a good middle option if you want pool facilities without Villamar's scale.

    Winter long stays and ACSI

Benidorm's campsites are busiest from October to April, when long-stay guests come for the mild winter. Book well ahead for January to March. Discount schemes such as ACSI CampingCard are accepted at some sites, but motorhome forum users report that the discount depends on your length of stay, so ask before booking. For what the town is like in winter, see Benidorm in winter and the list of bars closed for winter.

    Motorhome rules in town

Use a campsite or an official motorhome area to sleep. Spanish towns commonly restrict camping-style overnight stays in vehicles on public streets, so obey local signs; sleeping on the beach itself is fined (see our beach rules guide). For day trips into the centre, our parking guide lists car parks, but a large motorhome is easier left on site, with the bus or a taxi into town.

Getting into town from the campsites

Most sites are on the Levante and Rincón de Loix side, so the bars of the Strip are a walk, a short bus ride or a cheap taxi away. Urban buses cost €1.60 a single. See getting around Benidorm for routes.
