Quick answer: Benidorm's long-distance bus station (Estación de Autobuses) is on Carrer Francisco Llorca Antón on the western edge of town, next to the Benidorm Intermodal TRAM stop. ALSA coaches run from here to Alicante airport and city, Valencia (about 1 hour 45 minutes, roughly hourly), Madrid (about 5 hours 25 minutes) and further afield. It is not walkable from most hotels, so allow time for a local bus or taxi.

    Location and getting there

The station sits on the edge of town near the AP-7 and the Intermodal TRAM stop, which serves lines L1 (to Alicante) and L9 (to Altea, Calpe and Dénia). From the Rincón de Loix or Levante, take a local bus or a taxi; a taxi is quickest with luggage. Allow at least 30 minutes to reach it from the centre in summer traffic.

    Tickets and tips

    • Book ALSA tickets online or in the app for the best fares; prices rise closer to departure.

    • Arrive 15 minutes early; long-distance coaches load luggage first.

    • For Valencia, the coach is usually faster than combining the TRAM and train; see our train guide.

    • Many airport buses also stop in town, so check whether you need to go to the station at all.
