How much country music is there in Benidorm?
Not a lot compared with rock or soul, but enough for a country night most weeks. Our listings had 22 country shows out of 1,381 in the fortnight from 15 October 2026, roughly one or two a night across the town. That is why this page's live list covers seven days rather than just tonight.
The shows are spread thinly: no venue had more than four, and they ran in British pubs, a themed saloon and two hotels. Country sits within the wider live music bar scene, and a lot of it crosses over with rock and roll.
Western Saloon and Red Dog: the themed bars
Two bars carry the western theme, and they are easy to confuse because of their names.
Western Saloon
Western Saloon sits inside the Hotel Ambassador Playa on Calle Gerona. Listing sites describe Wild West decor with a large cactus and American flags, and live music that is mostly country and rock and roll. It was the single busiest venue in our listings, with 79 shows in the fortnight, though only three were tagged as country; most nights are mixed cabaret and tribute bills. Published hours run until about 04:00.
Red Dog Western Saloon
Red Dog Western Saloon is the one an estate-agent nightlife guide links with country singers and line dancing. We have no line-dancing class times on record, so ask at the bar for the next session before you plan an evening around it.
Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers tributes
Tribute shows are the most reliable way to hear country in Benidorm. These acts appeared in our listings in the fortnight from 15 October 2026:

Pubs and hotels that book country acts
Outside the saloons, country nights turn up in ordinary British pubs. The White Horse in the Rincón de Loix, which a nightlife guide lists as family-friendly, and Uncle Peds each had four country shows in our fortnight. The Crown Calle Gerona and The Red Lion on Calle Gerona had three each.

Rock and roll, Elvis and the country crossover
