    Benidorm's steakhouses at a glance

Benidorm has three kinds of steakhouse: Argentinian parrillas that cook over charcoal, British-style steak restaurants with sauces and sides, and upmarket Spanish grills selling aged and imported beef. You will find all three within a short walk of the beaches. This page sits alongside our best restaurants in Benidorm guide.

    Argentinian grills (parrillas)

Argentinian restaurants grill over charcoal or wood and serve cuts by name rather than weight. Both of Benidorm's best-known parrillas are in Levante, close to the Strip on Calle Gerona.

Parrilla Argentina La Salamandra, Calle Esperanto

La Salamandra scores 4.4 on Google from more than 1,000 reviews. Reviewers name entraña (skirt), vacío (flank), picaña (rump cap), lomo bajo (sirloin) and a 1 kg T-bone, plus grilled provolone and empanadas with chimichurri. A February 2026 reviewer paid €25.50 for a menu with starters, a parrillada for two and dessert, with drinks extra. It opens 12:45 to 16:00 and 20:00 to 23:00 and closes on Tuesdays. Weekends fill up, so book.

La Parrilla de Héctor, Calle Gerona

La Parrilla de Héctor at Calle Gerona 3 serves flame-grilled steaks, lamb chops, lobster and Argentinian starters. It opens 18:00 to 22:00 Tuesday to Sunday and closes on Mondays. It scores 4.4 on Google from 713 reviews, but opinions on the steak are split between tender and chewy, and some reviewers report billing disputes. Check your bill.

Steak restaurants in the Old Town, Levante and Rincón

If you want a sauce, chips and a dessert menu, these are the steakhouses British and Irish visitors talk about most.

Amigos Restaurant & Roof Terrace, Old Town

Amigos on Calle de la Palma in the Old Town is one of the highest-rated restaurants in Benidorm, with 5.0 on TripAdvisor from more than 2,700 reviews. Reviewers praise a 340 g fillet with asparagus and ratatouille and a blue cheese sauce. One diner paid €79 for two starters, two mains and two drinks. It is small and popular, so book. FindMeGlutenFree reviewers say staff understand coeliac needs and use dedicated chip fryers.

    Paradiso, Avenida Ametlla de Mar

Paradiso scores 9.4 on TripAdvisor from 1,525 reviews and is priced at €20 to €30 a head on GastroRanking. Reviewers single out the steak and ribs, generous portions and a calm terrace, and say staff helped coeliac diners choose dishes. It also serves Sunday roasts; see our Sunday roast guide.

Steak House La Brasa, Rincón de Loix

Steak House La Brasa on Avenida de Almería, in the Rincón de Loix, opens in the evenings and scores 4.6 on Google from 599 reviews. The menu runs from T-bone and fillet to mixed grills, gammon steaks and BBQ ribs, and reviewers say the three-course steak meal is good value. Book in season.

Premium steak: ConBrassa on the Poniente seafront

ConBrassa at Avenida Vicente Llorca Alós 3 is the place for a special-occasion steak with a view of Poniente beach. The grill menu includes Angus entrecôte, black Angus, wagyu and Galician beef, and a 1 kg aged ribeye served on a hot stone, plus lamb chops and Balfegó red tuna. Wanderlog rates its prices as expensive.

It opens 13:00 to 16:00 and 19:00 to 23:00, Tuesday to Sunday. Reviews are mostly positive about the meat and the views, but a January 2026 diner was charged twice in error. Reserve at peak times, and note that vegetarian choices are limited.

Cuts, cooking and what you will pay

Spanish menus often price large steaks such as chuletón or T-bone by the kilo, so check whether a price is per portion or per kilo before you order. Argentinian grills also sell a parrillada, a mixed grill for two or more.

    • Doneness: poco hecho (rare), al punto (medium), muy hecho (well done).
    • Expect about €20–€30 a head at mid-range grills and more at ConBrassa. See our Benidorm prices guide for drinks and other costs.

Tips for booking a steak dinner

Book ahead at all six restaurants above; every one has review advice to reserve, and Amigos is small. Spanish dinner service starts late, so a 19:30 table is easy to get and 21:30 is peak.

Check closing days before you walk over: La Salamandra closes on Tuesdays, and ConBrassa and La Parrilla de Héctor on Mondays. For a different night out, compare our seafood restaurants or head for drinks afterwards at one of the cocktail bars.
