    What you'll find inside

    Fish & seafood

Daily-fresh hauls from the Benidorm fleet — sea bass, prawns, octopus, sardines, monkfish, clams. The fishmongers gut and fillet free.

    Meat & cured Spanish charcuterie

Iberian ham, chorizo, lomo, morcilla, butchers cutting steak and chicken to order.

    Cheese, olives & deli

Manchego, local cheeses, salted anchovies, marinated olives, sun-dried tomatoes.

    Fruit, veg & bakery

Often direct from Valencian growers. Bakery stalls do daily bread, empanadas and traditional cakes.

    Bar counters

A few in-market bar counters serve breakfast bocadillos and coffee — under €5 for a sit-down breakfast inside the market hall.

    How to get there

From Levante it's a 15–20 minute walk along the seafront and up into the Old Town. From Rincón de Loix or The Strip, allow a 25-minute walk or a €5–€7 taxi. Several Llorente Bus city lines stop within a few minutes' walk.

    Tips

    • Bring small notes — card works on most stalls but not all.
    • Self-catering? This is by far the freshest place to shop.
    • Grab breakfast at one of the in-market bar counters.
    • Ask "¿Lo limpia?" at the fish counter — they'll clean it for you free.
