Magic Natura is unlike any other hotel in Benidorm. Built on the same 40,000 m² plot as Terra Natura — a wildlife park home to more than 1,500 animals of 200 different species — the resort lets you sleep, eat and swim just metres from elephants, jaguars, lions and rhinos, and to walk straight into the park each morning.

The property is designed as a series of Polynesian-style lodges scattered across a landscaped nature site, with the on-site Aqua Natura waterpark included in most stays. It's a genuinely different Benidorm holiday: quieter, greener and family-focused, with day and night safaris, environmental workshops and a strong sustainability programme certified by Bioscore.

Sleeping next to 1,500 animals — the Terra Natura experience

The whole reason Magic Natura exists is Terra Natura, the wildlife and nature park it shares a site with. Guests staying at the resort get direct access to the park, home to more than 1,500 animals across 200 species — including elephants, white tigers, jaguars, lions, rhinos, hippos and a huge collection of reptiles and birds.

Because you're actually staying on the park's premises, you can wander in and out during the day, come back to the lodge for lunch and head out again for a late-afternoon walk when the animals are more active. This is the closest a Benidorm holiday gets to a mini safari trip.

Aqua Natura — the on-site waterpark

Sitting alongside the wildlife park is Aqua Natura, a full waterpark included in most Magic Natura packages. It's built around a large tropical main pool with an elephant fountain centrepiece, plus slides, a lazy river, jacuzzis and dedicated kids' splash zones.

For families this means you rarely have to leave the resort: a morning at the animals, an afternoon at the waterpark, and dinner back at the lodge without ever needing a taxi.

Polynesian-style lodges and 6,000 m² of outdoor space

Accommodation at Magic Natura is deliberately not a tower block. The rooms are arranged as low-rise Polynesian-style lodges scattered across the landscaped site, each with natural wood finishes, tropical bedroom murals and a private balcony or terrace looking out over the pools, gardens or park.

There is more than 6,000 m² of outdoor entertainment space, with quiet chill-out zones, chiringuito bars, palapas and pathways that connect the lodges to the pools, restaurants and animal park — you're always outdoors, not walking down long hotel corridors.

Day and night safaris, workshops and eco-education

Beyond the standard park visit, Magic Natura runs day and night safaris that take small groups closer to the animals when the park is quiet and the wildlife is at its most active. These are among the most popular extras for families staying more than a few nights.

For younger guests there are environmental workshops and small 'science laboratories' where children learn about the animals, ecosystems and conservation work being done on site. It genuinely feels like a holiday that also teaches something — a rare thing in Benidorm.

    Restaurants, bars and themed events

Food is served across several restaurants and bars scattered around the property, from the main buffet restaurant to poolside snack points and outdoor chiringuitos. Half board, full board and all-inclusive packages are all available, and buffet nights are regularly themed around Polynesian, Mediterranean and international cuisines.

Throughout the year the resort runs themed events — Halloween buffets, Oktoberfest evenings with a proper draft beer selection, Christmas markets and summer pool parties — which give repeat guests something new each visit.

Sustainability, Kids' Club and the Bioscore certification

Magic Natura is one of very few Benidorm hotels to carry the Bioscore environmental certification, which independently validates its sustainability efforts across water, energy, waste, food sourcing and biodiversity — very much in keeping with the resort's nature-first identity.

There is a full Kids' Club with supervised activities, a dedicated animation team that runs pool and evening entertainment, and quieter zones for adults who want to escape the family buzz. Combined with the animals, waterpark and lodge-style accommodation, it's a resort that works equally well for young families, three-generation trips and couples looking for a calmer alternative to the Benidorm strip.

Location — Terra Natura vs central Benidorm

Magic Natura sits in the Foia del Verdader area, about 5 km inland from the Benidorm seafront and slightly uphill towards the mountains. Terra Mítica, Aqualandia and Mundomar are all within a few minutes' drive, and central Benidorm (Levante Beach, the Old Town and the Rincón de Loix strip) is a €10–€15 taxi.

The resort runs its own shuttle at scheduled times to the town centre and beach, which most families use once or twice during a week's stay. If your idea of a holiday is a Calle Gerona bar every night, this isn't the hotel for you — but if you want a Benidorm base that feels genuinely different, greener and calmer, Magic Natura is the strongest option in the resort.
