The rooftop is the reason most people book. The pool deck wraps the top of the building with sun loungers, a Balinese-style chill-out zone and the famous sky bar serving cocktails until late. The view runs the full length of Benidorm Bay — Levante and Poniente both visible — and at sunset it is one of the most atmospheric spots in town to start the evening.

Importantly, the rooftop is reserved for hotel guests, so even on the hottest days you do not get the day-tripper crowds that you see at some of the city's other photographed sky bars. Loungers are first-come, first-served but not aggressively reserved — most guests get a spot without the 7am towel run.

Rooms are noticeably more modern than the Benidorm 4-star average. The standard double is a bright, white-walled room with a comfortable king bed, a large rainfall shower, smart-TV, in-room safe, mini-fridge, and either a Juliet balcony or a small step-out terrace depending on the room category.

Sea-view rooms on the upper floors are worth the upgrade — you get a clean view across the rooftops to the bay rather than a side glimpse. Premium and suite categories add a separate seating area and, in some cases, a freestanding bath.

Flash Hotel Benidorm runs a polished all-inclusive plan that is a step above the standard buffet 4-star. The main restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with proper live cooking stations — fresh pasta, grilled fish, plancha-cooked meats and a salad bar that is regularly refreshed rather than left to sit.

Drinks are served from the lobby bar, the rooftop sky bar and the main pool bar. Local beers, wines, spirits and cocktails are included; premium brands and specific cava lines are usually charged as supplements. The signature gin and tonic menu on the rooftop is genuinely a highlight.

Flash Hotel Benidorm is strictly adults-only — minimum age varies but is typically 16+. The crowd is mostly couples and small friend groups (hen weekends are kept under control by the hotel and tend to stay in the bar rather than dominate the pool deck), and the atmosphere is calmer and more design-led than the family 4-stars further along Levante.

Evenings are lower-key than a Sandos or a Magic Aqua: think live acoustic music in the lobby, a DJ on the rooftop at weekends, and an early-evening cocktail session rather than a children's mini-disco followed by a tribute act.

Calle Esperanto is a quiet residential street one block back from the main Avenida del Mediterráneo. It is genuinely walkable to everything: Levante Beach is around 10 minutes downhill, the famous English square at Calle Gerona is 7–8 minutes, and a long list of bars, tapas restaurants and supermarkets sits within a five-minute radius.

For nights out, you can comfortably leave the rooftop at 9pm and be in the square in time for the first tribute act of the night. The ALSA airport bus stops on the main avenue, around 8 minutes' walk away.
