What all inclusive covers in Benidorm

All inclusive usually means buffet meals, daytime snacks and unlimited local drinks until around midnight, but the small print differs, as the two official Meliá descriptions show.

    Meliá Benidorm

The all inclusive bars at the Meliá Benidorm serve unlimited soft drinks, water and local alcohol, including draught beer, wine and spirits, plus ice cream, from 10:00 to midnight. La Palapa serves snacks, burgers, salads and sandwiches from 11:00 to 18:00 depending on the season, and the package runs from arrival until 12:00 on departure day.

    Sol Pelícanos Ocas

At the Sol Pelícanos Ocas on Calle Gerona, guests wear a personal, non-transferable wristband. Snacks run 10:30 to 13:00 and 15:30 to 18:00, premium-brand drinks cost extra, each person can order at most two drinks at a time, and the service ends at midnight.

    Common exclusions

Premium spirits, à la carte restaurants and drinks after midnight are the usual extras; at Sandos Benidorm Suites, all inclusive excludes the Khas Mahal restaurant.

Family all inclusive: the Magic water-park resorts

The Magic hotels pair all inclusive with water parks. The catch is distance: most sit on the edge of town, away from Levante.

    Magic Natura

Magic Natura is inside the Terra Natura animal park, about 5.5 km from Levante. Jet2's All Inclusive Plus includes branded spirits and unlimited entry to both Terra Natura and the Aqua Natura water park, with cold drinks and snacks at the water-park bar; food and drinks inside the zoo are extra. Jet2 says the hillside site is not recommended for wheelchair users.

    Magic Pirates Island

The newest Magic resort, Magic Pirates Island, is on the outskirts with three pools, six bars and two themed restaurants on All Inclusive Plus, direct access to the Aqua Natura rides and a mini club for ages 4 to 12. Reviewers note the site feels isolated without a taxi.

    Magic Tropical Splash

Magic Tropical Splash is at Cala de Finestrat, about 300 metres from the beach and 5.3 km from the centre, with the Pirates Adventure aqua park and Black Pearl splash park on site. Magic Halloween runs from 2 October to 1 November 2026.

Magic Robin Hood is in L'Alfàs del Pi rather than Benidorm. Closer to Levante, the 3-star Rosamar near the Rincón de Loix is sold on half board by Hays Travel, with a children's pool and summer entertainment. Our Benidorm with kids guide covers the theme parks and Aqualandia.

    Adults-only all inclusive

Several adults-only hotels sell all inclusive, so couples need not choose between a child-free pool and a wristband. Jet2's all inclusive at Hotel Agua Azul covers breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and soft and alcoholic drinks, and all inclusive rates are also listed at RH Royal and Sandos Monaco.

At Flamingo Beach Resort, Oyster describes buffet meals, water and soft drinks, wine and beer with lunch and dinner, a welcome cocktail and happy-hour drinks, with premium spirits extra. Our adults only hotels guide covers ages and group policies.

All inclusive or go out? The cost comparison

All inclusive pays off if you spend most days at the pool, and less if you eat and drink in town every evening, because Benidorm's bars are cheap.

    • A pint in a British bar typically costs €3–4, with happy-hour pints from €1 to €2.50; see our cheapest pint in Benidorm page.
    • A caña in a local Spanish bar is about €1.80–2.50, and beachfront pints about €3–4.50.
    • A full English in a budget British bar costs about €4.50–6; see our Benidorm prices guide.
    • Drinks stop around midnight at the Meliá hotels, so late nights on the Strip are paid for anyway.

Evening entertainment in all inclusive hotels

Most big all inclusive hotels run evening shows: Flamingo Oasis lists live shows, a piano bar and the Flamingo Fiesta Disco. Our hotel entertainment guide compares the hotels with the best shows.

Ask before trying another hotel's show: all inclusive hotels often restrict bars to guests with wristbands. For shows open to everyone, check what's on tonight in Benidorm or our Benidorm nightlife guide.

    Tips for booking all inclusive

Read the board description on the exact page you book, since operators describe packages differently. Check drinks hours, branded spirits and themed-restaurant supplements.

Factor in transport if the hotel is out of town: the Magic resorts are 5–6 km from the centre, and a taxi or bus into Levante adds to the cost. Groups should check first: Magic Natura, Magic Tropical Splash and Villa del Mar do not accept stag or hen parties, and Villa del Mar takes no more than two rooms under one name.

All inclusive hotels in Benidorm — FAQs

What is included in all inclusive in Benidorm?

Usually buffet meals, daytime snacks and unlimited local drinks: draught beer, wine, spirits, soft drinks and water. At the Meliá Benidorm, drinks run from 10:00 to midnight and snacks from 11:00 to 18:00. Premium brands, à la carte restaurants and late-night drinks are normally extra.

What time does all inclusive finish in Benidorm hotels?

Often at midnight. The Meliá Benidorm's all inclusive bars serve from 10:00 to midnight, and the Sol Pelícanos Ocas service also ends at midnight. On departure day both end at 12:00 noon, so check-out lunch is not usually covered.

Do you get a wristband for all inclusive in Benidorm?

Yes, at many hotels. The Sol Pelícanos Ocas issues a personal, non-transferable all inclusive wristband that you show to be served, with a maximum of two drinks per order per person.

Is all inclusive worth it in Benidorm?

It depends on your plans. Pints cost around €3–4 in British bars, with happy hours from €1, so drinkers who go out every night may save little. Families and anyone spending long days at the pool, especially at the Magic water-park resorts, tend to get the most value.

Which all inclusive hotels in Benidorm have water parks?

The Magic resorts. Magic Natura includes unlimited Aqua Natura water park and Terra Natura zoo entry, Magic Pirates Island has direct access to the Aqua Natura rides, and Magic Tropical Splash at Cala de Finestrat has its own aqua park and splash park. All are 5–6 km from the centre.

Are there adults-only all inclusive hotels in Benidorm?

Yes. Hotel Agua Azul, near the Old Town, offers all inclusive with meals, snacks and alcoholic drinks, and all inclusive rates are also listed at RH Royal, Sandos Monaco and Flamingo Beach Resort. See our adults only hotels guide for minimum ages and group rules.
