Levante, Benidorm

Levante is Benidorm's main beach — two kilometres of golden sand with a wide promenade, high-rise hotels and the classic Benidorm skyline. It links the Old Town at its western end with the Rincón de Loix to the east, and most visitors walk along it at some point every day.

The seafront itself is lined with cafés, beach bars and restaurants, busy from breakfast to sunset. Just behind it, streets such as Calle Lepanto and the lower end of the New Town hold cabaret venues including Talk of the Town and Riviera Music Lounge, plus plenty of bars with live singers.

In the evening the promenade is the place for a walk and a cocktail with a sea view before heading inland to the show bars. Beach bars such as Tiki Beach run music into the evening in season. Pride's parade in September and many festival events use the Levante front.

Levante is a good base if you want the beach on your doorstep and both the Old Town and the Rincón within walking distance — the middle of the beach is roughly equidistant from both.
