Moros y Cristianos
Benidorm's Moors and Christians fiesta, with costumed parades, ran on 1–4 October 2026 and 3–5 October 2025. It is expected around the first weekend of October 2027 (about 1–3 October), but dates are unconfirmed.
Halloween at Terra Mítica
Terra Mítica runs Halloween from 3 October to 1 November 2026, with Horror Nights on Saturdays 3, 10, 17 and 24 October (10 October sold out) and a special opening from 11:00 to 01:00 on 31 October. Adults get 2-for-1 on October Sundays with a promo code.
Public holidays
9 October is Comunitat Valenciana Day and 12 October is Spain's national day. In 2027 they fall on a Saturday and a Tuesday, so expect Spanish visitors that weekend.

October is the first month without a water park, but the zoo, marine park and Terra Mítica's Halloween keep families busy.
