Halloween in Benidorm

Halloween in Benidorm falls on Saturday 31 October in 2026, and the biggest event is at Terra Mítica, which runs a Halloween season from 3 October to 1 November and stays open from 11:00 to 01:00 on the night itself, with six terror experiences from 12:00 to midnight and a DJ from 23:00.

Benidorm council had not published a Halloween programme when we checked, so the rest of the night is down to the parks, hotels and bars. Under the 2026 Valencian hours order, bars, pubs and clubs may stay open 60 minutes past their normal closing time on 31 October.

All Saints' Day (1 November) is a public holiday in the Valencian region. In 2026 it falls on a Sunday and is not moved to Monday, so Monday 2 November is a normal working day.

    Halloween in Benidorm — FAQs

What is on for Halloween in Benidorm in 2026?

The main event is Terra Mítica, open 11:00–01:00 on Saturday 31 October with six terror experiences, shows and a late DJ set. Its adults-only Horror Nights run on October Saturdays plus Sunday 1 November. Mundomar has a pirate Halloween until 1 November, and hotels and bars hold themed parties on the 31st.

What time does Terra Mítica close on Halloween?

On Saturday 31 October 2026 Terra Mítica opens from 11:00 to 01:00, according to the park's official calendar. The six terror experiences run from 12:00 to midnight, each with its own times, and a DJ session starts at 23:00. Most experiences are recommended for ages 12 and over.

Can children go to Terra Mítica Horror Nights?

No. Horror Nights does not admit under-14s, and 14- and 15-year-olds must be with a paying adult. For younger children, the daytime Halloween season has a children's walk-through, El Misterio de la Piedra de los Deseos, and Mundomar runs a family pirate Halloween.

Can I wear a costume to Terra Mítica Horror Nights?

No. The park's rules say only staff may wear costumes, masks or face paint at Horror Nights. Costumes are part of the fun elsewhere in town on 31 October, and Benidorm's big costume party, the Fancy Dress Party, follows in November.

Do bars stay open later on Halloween in Benidorm?

Yes. The Valencian hours order for 2026 gives venues 60 minutes beyond their normal closing time on 31 October, so a pub that normally shuts at 03:30 can trade until 04:30. Street drinking is still not allowed, so keep drinks inside the bar or on its terrace.

Is 1 November a holiday in Benidorm?

Yes, All Saints' Day is a public holiday, but in 2026 it falls on a Sunday and the Valencian region does not move it to Monday. Public offices are closed, while bars, restaurants and Terra Mítica open as normal.

When is the Benidorm Fancy Dress Party?

The Fancy Dress Party is held on the Thursday after the November fiestas, and is expected on Thursday 12 November 2026. It is a separate event from Halloween and draws tens of thousands of people in costume to the Rincón de Loix.
