    Mundomar at a glance

Mundomar is a compact animal park built around shows, so it suits families with younger children and anyone who prefers animals to rides. It is one of five parks in our Benidorm theme parks guide.

A note on sources: we could not open Mundomar's official price and calendar pages, so the prices and dates below come from the Visit Benidorm tourist board and a ticket reseller. They agree on the main prices but not on every detail, so check the official site before you buy.

    Mundomar ticket prices

Gate prices are about €32 for adults and €26 for children and seniors, and buying online brings the adult price down to about €26.

    • Free entry age: the reseller and sister park Aqualandia say under-3s go free; Visit Benidorm says under-4s. Check when booking.
    • Swimming with sea lions and dolphin experiences cost extra.
    • The combo price is from Aqualandia's official price list and only applies while Aqualandia is open.

    Opening times and season

Mundomar is listed as open from 2 January to 1 November, except some days, which makes it one of the few Benidorm parks you can visit in early spring.

Usual hours are 10:00–18:00, and Visit Benidorm says the park stays open until 19:00 in July and August. Whether it opens in November and December is not confirmed, and no 2027 dates have been published. On a wet day, remember the park is mainly outdoors; our rainy day guide has better options.

    Shows and animal encounters

The day revolves around the shows: dolphins, sea lions and parrots each have their own presentation, and each dolphin demonstration lasts about 30 minutes.

Pick up the show timetable when you arrive and plan your route around it. Paid encounters, including swimming with sea lions and dolphin experiences, are booked separately. One review suggests about three hours is enough to see everything, which makes Mundomar a good half-day if you pair it with the beach or a playground.

    Getting there and parking

Mundomar is on Calle Sierra Helada at the northern edge of the Rincón de Loix, beside Aqualandia, and the two parks share a free car park.

By bus, Llorente Bus (Avanza) line 001 runs from the train station stop along Avenida del Mediterráneo and through the Rincón de Loix to the V. Aqualandia/Mundomar stop about every 30 minutes; line 011 also stops there. A single costs €1.60. For a taxi, see Benidorm taxis.

    Food and tips

You can bring your own food to Mundomar, and there is a picnic area with microwaves, which makes it one of the cheaper family days out.

    • Plan the day around the show times rather than walking the park in order.
    • Combine it with Aqualandia on the two-day combo (€57 at the gate, €54 online for adults).
    • Bring sun hats: most of the park is open-air.
    • Families can find more ideas in Benidorm with kids, and ride fans should read our Terra Mítica guide.

    Mundomar or Terra Natura?

Choose Mundomar for shows and marine animals in a smaller park; choose Terra Natura for a bigger zoo with more than 1,500 animals and an attached water park.

Mundomar is closer to the Levante hotels and has free parking, while Terra Natura is inland near Terra Mítica, with €5 parking. Prices are similar: about €32 at Mundomar and from €33 at Terra Natura for adults.
