September's headline weather risk is the DANA (Depresión Aislada en Niveles Altos) — a slow-moving high-altitude low that can dump the equivalent of a month's rain in a few hours. It's a Costa Blanca autumn signature and typically hits in late September or October. Storms are dramatic but usually clear within 24 hours, leaving warm, bright weather behind.
