Kafee Klee — the original
It is a small, packed room with a tiny stage and a nightly line-up of lip-sync, live vocals and very quick wit. It sits at the heart of the Old Town gay village and draws a mixed crowd of locals, Pride regulars and curious holidaymakers.

The Old Town gay village
Benidorm's gay village is centred on Carrer d'Alacant and Carrer de Santa Faç in the Old Town, busy from late evening until the small hours. Drag is part of the furniture: most bars host a queen at least once a week, and in Pride week (early September) the whole district becomes one long party. What to expect
Shows run 45–90 minutes, often in two halves. Humour is adult, audience participation is part of the deal, and hen parties are very welcome — book ahead for groups of six or more.
Drag etiquette and what to expect
Drag in Benidorm is participatory. Queens work the room between numbers, pull people on stage for birthdays and hen parties, and expect a cheer for every reveal. Tipping is not compulsory, but performers appreciate a drink bought at the bar or a note tucked into a garter during the walkabout segments.
Most drag venues are free entry with no dress code. Hen and stag groups are welcome, but large groups should arrive before 22:00 to get seats together. Photography is usually fine; filming whole numbers is frowned on in some bars, so ask the host first.

Getting there from the main hotel zones
Benidorm's drag scene splits between the Old Town gay village — the lanes around Calle Santo Domingo and the Plaza de la Constitución — and the bigger cabaret rooms of the New Town. The Old Town bars are small and walkable from each other in two or three minutes.
From Levante seafront hotels, walk west along the promenade to the Old Town in about 15 minutes. From the Rincón de Loix it is nearer 30 minutes on foot, so many visitors take a taxi in and walk back along the beach.
