Benidorm Fest

Benidorm Fest is the televised contest RTVE uses to choose Spain's Eurovision Song Contest entry. Since the first edition in 2022 it has brought a week of live TV, rehearsals and fan parties to the town every winter.

The shows are held at the Palau d'Esports l'Illa, the town's indoor arena, with two semi-finals and a Saturday final broadcast live on La 1. Thousands of Eurovision fans travel from across Spain and Europe, so the week has a very different feel from the usual winter season.
