About the show and the performers
A The Overtones tribute in Benidorm is a full live show rather than a quick turn between acts: a costumed performer, or a group for band tributes, playing a set built around the hits for 45 minutes to an hour, often split into two halves. Most run in the show bars of the Rincón de Loix and along Calle Gerona in the New Town, where entry is free and you are simply expected to buy drinks while you watch.

About The Overtones
The Overtones are a British vocal harmony group whose records revive doo-wop and classic pop with polished close-harmony arrangements.
Their repertoire includes ‘Gambling Man’, ‘Goodnight Sweetheart’ and interpretations of songs such as ‘Why Do Fools Fall in Love’.
The group drew attention for its close-harmony performances before its debut album Good Ol' Fashioned Love became a success. Rather than copying one original artist, their sets revisit earlier doo-wop, swing and pop songs through vocal arrangements. Their own ‘Gambling Man’ sits alongside interpretations of standards, so an Overtones-themed act is fundamentally a harmony show.
