About the show and the performers
A Sister Act tribute in Benidorm is a full live show rather than a quick turn between acts: a costumed performer, or a group for band tributes, playing a set built around the hits for 45 minutes to an hour, often split into two halves. Most run in the show bars of the Rincón de Loix and along Calle Gerona in the New Town, where entry is free and you are simply expected to buy drinks while you watch.
No named performer is listed for this tribute yet. When a venue lists the act, the performer appears here automatically.
Venues will appear here once dates are listed. Arrive 30 minutes before the start time at weekends to get a table near the stage.

About Sister Act
Sister Act began as the 1992 film starring Whoopi Goldberg as Deloris Van Cartier, a Reno lounge singer hidden in a convent after witnessing a crime, who turns the nuns' struggling choir into a sensation. Its soundtrack reworked 1960s pop and Motown songs — 'My Guy' became 'My God', and 'I Will Follow Him' became a gospel showstopper.
The 1993 sequel added 'Oh Happy Day' and 'Joyful, Joyful', and in 2006 the story was turned into a stage musical with new songs by Alan Menken and Glenn Slater, including 'Take Me to Heaven' and 'Raise Your Voice'. It has since played the West End and Broadway.
Sister Act tribute shows in Benidorm lean into the comedy and the costumes, mixing the film's gospel-pop arrangements with feel-good disco and Motown. Dates below are for tribute and themed shows in Benidorm.
