About the show and the performers
A Luther Vandross tribute in Benidorm is a full live show rather than a quick turn between acts: a costumed performer, or a group for band tributes, playing a set built around the hits for 45 minutes to an hour, often split into two halves. Most run in the show bars of the Rincón de Loix and along Calle Gerona in the New Town, where entry is free and you are simply expected to buy drinks while you watch.
No named performer is listed for this tribute yet. When a venue lists the act, the performer appears here automatically.
Venues will appear here once dates are listed. Arrive 30 minutes before the start time at weekends to get a table near the stage.

About Luther Vandross
Luther Vandross was an American soul and R&B singer admired for his warm tone, smooth phrasing and romantic ballads.
‘Never Too Much’, ‘Here and Now’, ‘Dance with My Father’ and his version of ‘A House Is Not a Home’ are central to his catalogue.
Before his solo breakthrough, Vandross worked as a session singer and arranger; Never Too Much put his own voice centre stage in 1981. His phrasing often stretched a familiar melody into something personal, particularly on ballads. ‘Dance with My Father’ came much later, showing the emotional range beyond his early dance and R&B recordings.
