Karaoke Bars in Benidorm

Calle Gerona has the Palladium and a cluster of bars running afternoon karaoke. The Rincón de Loix has the dedicated karaoke bars and Greeny's. The Old Town is quieter, with karaoke a once-a-week event in a few British bars rather than every night.

Karaoke in Benidorm is free: you put your name and song on the slip, hand it to the host and wait your turn. Bars make their money on drinks. Busy bars can have a 30–45 minute queue on Friday and Saturday nights, so put your name down early.

Karaoke is one of the few things that runs all year in Benidorm. In the quieter winter months a handful of Rincón and Gerona bars keep nightly karaoke going while other venues close, so check our winter closures page before setting out.

Pick your song before you reach the front of the queue and have a back-up — the classics (Bohemian Rhapsody, Mr Brightside, Sweet Caroline, I Will Survive) are often already taken on busy nights. Duets and group numbers get on faster in some bars because hosts like to keep the energy high.

There is rarely a charge to sing, but buying a round keeps you in the host's good books.

Families are welcome at early karaoke in many Rincón bars until about 22:00; after that the crowd and the language turn adult.

Karaoke is spread across the Rincón de Loix and Calle Gerona. In the Rincón, the bars around Avenida de Mallorca and Calle Derramador are within a few minutes of each other, ideal for a karaoke crawl.

Song books are mostly English-language pop and rock, with a few Spanish and Irish favourites. Get your name on the list early on weekend nights — queues of 20 singers are not unusual after midnight.
