Ali G - Hip Hop

Venue

The Red Lion

Ali G in Benidorm brings a high-energy dose of satirical hip hop and early two-thousands nostalgia to the heart of the legendary local nightlife scene. Originally created by British comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, the character of Ali G became a global cultural phenomenon as the self-proclaimed leader of the West Staines Massiv. Representing a hilarious parody of suburban white youth adopting Jamaican Patois and hip hop culture, the original character rose to fame on Channel 4 before starring in his own feature film and interviewing world leaders with his signature brand of misguided street wisdom. This tribute show at The Red Lion captures that iconic aesthetic perfectly, featuring the trademark yellow tracksuit, tinted glasses, and oversized jewelry that defined an era of comedy. Audiences can expect a hilarious cabaret experience filled with authentic vocal impressions, classic catchphrases, and a soundtrack of old-school garage and rap hits that keep the energy high. Whether you are a fan of the original series or just looking for a fun night out on the strip, this performance delivers plenty of laughs and throwback vibes. Make sure to head down to the venue to experience this unique slice of British comedy history live in Benidorm.
