Soul Bar

Cathryn from Fusion Northern Soul and Motown in Benidorm brings the electric energy of two legendary musical eras to the stage at Soul Bar. As a cornerstone of British mod culture and the American R&B scene, Northern Soul and Motown defined the sound of the sixties and seventies with upbeat tempos, heavy beats, and soulful melodies. The Motown movement, famously rooted in Detroit, produced global icons and timeless anthems that bridged genres, while the Northern Soul scene became a unique subculture centered around rare vinyl finds and high-energy dancing. During this immersive live music experience, Cathryn delivers a powerful vocal performance that captures the essence of classic soul, featuring a setlist packed with high-tempo floor fillers and smooth rhythm and blues classics. Audiences can expect an authentic cabaret-style show that celebrates the rich history of black American music and its lasting impact on the UK club scene, making it a must-visit for vintage music lovers and fans of the Wigan Casino era. Whether you are a lifelong soulie or simply looking for a sophisticated night of live entertainment, you should definitely make time to catch this vibrant performance in Benidorm.
